As 2019 draws to a close, it gives me great honor and joy to

pastor the Greatest and most Impactful Church on this planet!

As we celebrate the season of Advent and look toward another

exciting new year, it is with thanksgiving and praise that we

offer unto the Lord the best praise that we have for bringing us

through to another year. We are wrapping up our church

“business” and making plans for seeking ahead to the need of

the church for the next appointment of year 2020

I am overjoyed knowing that God has truly blessed us in 2019

as we took on the challenge at the beginning of the year to

execute our vision and theme: “Year of Transition” –

Scripturally based Joshua 1:9. I truly feel we accomplished our

sought-out goals: Focus on Growth, Development and

Since this time last year, God has faithfully fulfilled our vision

and purpose to meet this present age. God has continued to

favor us with His blessings as individuals, as well as a Church

Family and growth both spiritually and numerically. I thank

God for all He has done and for His divine inspiration that

never fails. My faith family, I think we have made remarkable

strides in fulfilling the spirit of SMBC.

Relishing about what God has brought us through in 2019, and

another significant year as we celebrated 146 years of Kingdom

Service and 2 years as your Pastor. It makes me very excited

about where He is taking us in 2020. Where do we go from

We are an extraordinary community and have reason to be

proud! For me, challenges are opportunities for renewal, growth

and change. As we embark upon 2020 we have embraced the

theme: The Year to be more Fruitful based on Scripture John

15:2 (NLT). The Year to be more Fruitful means to be

Blooming: Moving from being planted to Assimilation,

Discipleship & Fellowship. We want to see people lives

transformed and see how our community and world would look

different if we truly lived unified for the sake of the Gospel. We

also want to see people coming together around the person of

Jesus. I invite you to join us as we walk through our traditional

Church Calendar in our weekly devotionals, worship service,

and scripture reading to gain a complete view of being

connected to Jesus and experience the joy of living for Him

I pray as believers, we must trust God in the process of facing

the present, with the future clearly with perfected vision in

mind. In order to be able to operate and position ourselves to be

more fruitful to see what God will do, in 2020 our focus agenda

will be three-fold: Assimilation, Discipleship and Fellowship.

The season of confusion and delay is over, and a new day is

beginning to dawn-Pick up the vision as we trust God in the

process. Assimilation will move us into position to help restore

the souls that will be swept into the Kingdom as we reap the

Harvest promised us. The Lord is releasing a fresh wind and a

mantle of grace to see the vision come forth as we move toward

the goal of fulfillment.

May each of your dreams, plans, visions, and goals be develop

as we walk together into a new season and level of spiritual

growth. This process of fruitfulness unfolds and manifests for

God’s glory. May God bless each of you all as we set our hearts

on the work that is ahead. In our allegiance to Him, we want to

be characterized by our good works. The result of spiritual

fruitfulness is that God is glorified, we grow, and others come to

know Christ.

“The Best Is Yet To Come.”

The process in which we forge interpersonal connections, by

fostering intimate relationships and interaction through

hospitality, information gathering, follow-ups and connection.

We want to help unbelievers become believers by showing them

Christ, and also help other believers grow to be more mature in

our walk with Jesus.

The expressing of love to one another, encouraging, teaching,

serving, and sharing our lives together to good works which is

essential to spiritual growth.

Glory to God Alone”

Fruitfulness 2020
